Syltbar, a restaurant and market, is known for carrying the finest gourmet food products from around the world to cater to Sylt's elite guests. Savor a sampling of these treats that were just recently imported into the USA. Your $10 fee includes a tasting of the above items, a glass of Italian Proseco in a keepsake Vizcaya flute and 10% off Syltbar items. Deering Wine Tasting

Deering Wine tasting poolside, conducted by the owners of the Deering Winery. Your $15 fee includes the tasting four varietals, a limited edition Vizcaya/Deering wine glass and interaction with a direct descendent of the Deering family. Tasting fee does not include paid admission to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Street Painting Demonstration

Artist Jane Portaluppi Durand magically transforms ordinary pavement into classic works of art. Street Painting is an art form that has been revered in Italy since the 16th Century. A must see! Free with paid admission to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Oct 29th and 30th

Art Demonstartion  and Exhibit

John Bowen, an accomplished local watercolorist, will be creating a new original watercolor on the property. We will be displaying his originals and prints all weekend. Come by to ask him a question or pick up a giclee print at 10% off for your home. Free with paid admission to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Oct 30th

Stitch in Public

Members of the Biscayne Chapter of The Embroiderer's Guild of America will be postitioned throughout the property demonstrating their craft. Reproductions of the Moths & Butterflies in The Deering Bathroom Canopy are available in Do It Yourself cross stitch kits. Free with paid admission to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
