I have to admit when I saw Toy Piano Day at Vizcaya Muaeum & Garden I thought okay. Then I went to Schoenhuts Toy Piano website http://www.toypiano.com/ and listened to samples of Margaret Leng Tan's CD "The Art of the Toy Piano (Point Music)" and started to get excited. The music was enchanting. Schoenhut has been making Toy Pianos for 135 years! Who knew! This is getting more interesting. Wendy Mae Chambers http://www.wendymae.com/index.html is "orchestrating" this event. Now this is getting exciting! After listening to the Schoenhut website of Margarte Leng Tan's music, just think what 64 pianos will sound like. Have I peaked your interest? Wait there is more to come in the next blog. Event:
